An on-premises data center is a group of servers that you privately own and control. On-prem" refers to private data center that in their own facilities and maintain themselves. This is the traditional data center, built on the organization’s property with all the necessary infrastructure like Built-up Area, Network IT Racks , Security Surveillances, Biometric Authentications, Power & Cooling Systems.
The Data Centre should ideally be built in a central location within the building complex. An approximate area of 4000 sq. ft. would be required for the Data Centre.The flooring should be capable of handling full load of the equipment’s hosted at the Data Centre.
